  • The Admin Support of the Year award will go to someone who has demonstrated unparalleled dedication and efficiency in supporting our organisation's operations. They will showcase their pivotal role in maintaining smooth and seamless administrative processes across various departments, whilst offering a warm welcome to those who seek our services.

  • Our Ancillary Worker of the Year award will go to someone who plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This person will be dedicated, and offer contributions that go beyond their primary responsibilities, making a significant impact on the overall wellbeing of our residents.

  • The Care at Home Worker of the Year award will go to someone who carries the CHD logo proudly and encompasses all we stand for as they move from house to house, caring for all those under the CHD umbrella, including CHD Care at Home and CHD Complex Care. The Care at Home worker will provide a safe, trust-worthy and comprehensive service for all those they support.

  • The Care Service Manager of the Year award will go to someone who is forward-thinking, hands-on, approachable, committed, and leads by example. This person will strive to drive the team forwards, bettering themselves and those around them in order to deliver exceptional care to our residents and service users.

  • The Chef of the Year award will go to someone who has made outstanding culinary contributions to our CHD services, going above and beyond to provide exceptional food for our residents and services users — adapted to suit dietary, religious, cultural and personal preferences/needs, as well as physical needs, such as soft food/liquid diets. Not only this, but the chef will have a great rapport with the residents and ensure his or her duties extend beyond the kitchen.

  • The Community Champion of the Year award will go to someone who has forged strong relationships with local businesses and individuals, in order to support the home with services and activities, as well as gifts and raffle prizes. This person will understand the importance of community connections, and arrange regular, meaningful events for residents and service users, such as visits from local schools and churches.

  • Our Deputy/Clinical Lead of the Year award will go to someone who facilitates the medical needs of our residents, shows exemplary leadership skills, and ensures the highest standard of clinical practise. They must be passionate about the CHD brand, and go above and beyond for all those in our care.

  • The Head Office/Central Support Staff Member of the Year award will go to someone who displays passion and commitment to the CHD brand, ensuring that, despite not always being hands on directly with our residents, they offer unrivalled assistance from behind the scenes, going above and beyond to create an exemplary environment for all those receiving our care. This person will be a pillar of support, both to other team members and our residents.

  • The Health Care Assistant of the Year award will go to someone who embodies our company ethos, and strives to ‘Create Happiness Daily’. They must play a crucial role in providing compassionate care for our residents and service users, contributing to their overall wellbeing, comfort and safety.

  • The Maintenance Staff Member of the Year award will go to someone who, through commitment to our services, ensures a safe, clean and serviceable environment for our residents, staff and visitors. This person will show unrivalled knowledge of the home and what needs to be done, and keep on top of his or her duties to promote exceptional living/working conditions.

  • The Newcomer of the Year award will go to someone who is new to the sector over the past 24 months, and who is already delivering the very best standard of care for our residents and service users. They will excel in their personal and team roles, and exhibit enthusiasm, professionalism, confidence and a shining commitment to their on-going career development.

  • The Nurse of the Year award will go to someone who, as an experienced and qualified professional, exhibits exceptional commitment to providing high quality, personalised care for all those under the CHD umbrella. This person will strive to go above and beyond, ensuring the utmost comfort, safety and happiness of the service-user.

  • The Team Leader of the Year award will go to someone who leads with confidence and compassion, instilling a sense of community and driving dedication within the team. This person will lead by example, offer support, and build excellent relationships with both the team and our service users.

  • The Therapist of the Year award will go to someone who, as well as having the knowledge and expertise to deliver excellence, also has the compassion and drive to ensure holistic care for each of our service users. This person will use their training and experience to support the resident on their recovery journey, whilst also forging a personal connection with them.

  • The Rising Star of the Year award will go to someone who is thriving in their role and striving to progress, showing commitment, initiative and drive. This person will be dedicated to our residents and service users, not only in the capacity of their role, but in other aspects too, forging close relationships, and going the extra mile to ensure they ‘Create Happiness Daily’.

  • The Wellbeing Coordinator of the Year award will go to someone who embodies the core values of CHD, and goes above and beyond to enhance the overall happiness and wellbeing of our residents and service users. They will design and deliver a range of comprehensive activities and plans that support their wellness, and build strong relationships with them.
